I love the rain. I love the smell of it, dancing in it, the taste of it, the sound of it, sleeping in it, warm rain, being stuck inside during the rain. I love watching movies under blankets during a thunderstorm. I love when the power goes out because of the storm and I enjoy counting the seconds between lightning strikes. Although, I love that moment when you are driving through a rain storm and you pass under a bridge. It feels as if time freezes, like in the movies, and for that split second I feel like a movie star.

I am a sky watcher. I believe that we don't deserve the beautiful colors above us, but are blessed to have them everyday. People who look up into the sky and aren't stopped in their tracks confuse me. Big open areas are my favorites to watch the night sky, including Meijers parking lot. I love my tailgate for the sole purpose of being able to pull over and watch the lightning during a storm. I hold picnic parties on my tailgate. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and even though I'm a vegetarian I still eat fish for health reasons.

I am a very impulsive person, with my shopping and ideas. I like dressing up, especially with extreme outfits and makeup. I am an amazing hairstylist with the right amounts of shampoo.

I'm obsessed with music. I enjoy bands that have more instruments than just guitar/bass/drums. I would choose an acoustic over an electric any day. I sing and play a little guitar but love fooling around on every instrument. Music and cars amaze me. I used to want to be a mechanic, but now I just want to be nomadic.

I love to learn from people. I love learning random things like how to read fortunes through tea leaves, tai chi and how to fold clothes like the Japanese, one reason why I love documentaries. I love science. I am a huge science geek, but I also love the stories of history. Mysteries amaze me, especially mysteries through history/science (i.e. quantum physics, the Mayan empire, millennium questions, Stonehenge, philosophy, existentialism and cosmology). I love scary movies.

I love deep conversations, especially the thoughts that drive them. I love the moments when I'm thinking so hard about something that I am completely unconnected to the world. When I wake up I have no recollection of time.

I love dressing up and going out to dinner, but I hate hearing people chew. Ive never been on a dinner/movie classic date with a guy before. I love to dance.

I hate that I cant touch my tongue to my nose, or balance a spoon on it. I can only flip my tongue one way, but I can whistle with it if you listen carefully enough. I hate sending 'thank you' cards, so don't be offended if you don't receive one. I hate talking on the phone, so don't be offended if I don't call you back. I hate repeating myself, but I have horrible hearing and will probably ask you to. more than once.
